A report on “Empowering Futures: Medhavi Skills University’s Career Counselling Session” Date: 9/05/24 Time: 1:00 PM Venue: College Auditorium . Attendees: Sixth semester students of B.A and B.Com Honours. On the 9th of May 2024, Medhavi Skills University (MSU) orchestrated a transformative career counselling and interaction session aimed at graduating students from different departments of the college. Spanning across fields such as Arts, Commerce, and Economics, the session delved into the profound outcomes of the MBA program and provided insights into the comprehensive academic structure of the university. The number of students attending the session was more than 110. The primary objective of this session was to equip the youth and other stakeholders with the necessary knowledge to navigate their future career trajectories judiciously.
Nitesh Dhakal secured third position in the poem competition organised by Ananta Theatre at NBBD College Tadong , the theme of the program was *अनन्त कविता संगम*

The IQAC and Department of Education, Sikkim Government College, Burtuk (Accredited with NAAC) organized the “State Level Workshop on Implementation of NEP 2020 & Its Preparedness” in a hybrid mode on 10 May 2024 in collaboration with the Directorate of Higher Education and Department of Education, Sikkim University. Shri Bhim Thatal, Director (HE), Education Department, Govt. of Sikkim and Dr. Robin Chettri, Director SCERT, Principal, Faculties, NEP SAARTHI of Sikkim Govt. College, Burtuk participated the workshop in addition to all the Principals, NEP Member Secretaries, Faculties, and NEP SAARTHIs of all the colleges of the state who participated via the online platform. Prof. Yodida Bhutia, Dr. Aabriti Sharma, Assistant Professor, Dr. Kanagaraj K., Assistant Professor and Mr. Bappaditya Adhikary, Assistant Professor of the Department of Education, Sikkim University served as workshop resource persons.
